Reports making the rounds reveal that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sacked the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu from office after what many have described as an abysmal performance since his appointment.

The purported sack of Adebayo Adelabu follows what many see as a timely re-jig of the cabinet of the president which keen observers have clamored for, especially with the failure of some of the cabinet members to deliver on their portfolio since their appointment ten months ago.

Recall, Nigerians had demanded for the sack of Adebayo Adelabu owing to his inability to handle the power sector as Minister.

Will the President make true his promises to kick out under performing Ministers in his cabinet? Time will tell!

Adebayo Adelabu had in recent times, received a black lash of criticisms from the Nigerians following his comments suggesting that citizens took advantage of cheap power supply after the blame by a cross section of Nigerians for the persistent issues with blackouts in the country. his apology later did not douse the demands for his immediate sack from office.
