EXPLORATION OF GAS RESOURCES: Ministry of Petroleum Resources Expresses Willingness To Identify With Activities Of SV-NED Energy Limited

Following the exploration and exploitation of the compressed natural gas sector in the country, a team from Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development Energy Limited (SV-NED) were recently guests at the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Abuja.

The delegation who were on a courtesy visit to the Ministry was led by the Executive Director, Captain D.O. Labinjo.

The Director of Upstream Department, Engr. Kamoru Busari, FNSE, who received the delegation on behalf of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Amb. Nicholas Agbo Ella, expressed the willingness of the Ministry to identify with the activities of SV-NED on the deeper penetration of the nation's gas resources in the country.

During the visit, Capt. Labinjo informed the Ministry that his company in collaboration with his partner from Czech Republic were ready to set up Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Conversion Centres in the six geopolitical zones of the country and therefore sought for the Ministry's necessary support.

Engr. Busari assured the team of the willingness of the Ministry to offer necessary support to the organisation in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President. 

The courtesy visit was attended by the Director of Gas Department in the Ministry, Mrs. Oluremi Komolafe and other Directors and senior officials of the Ministry.
