WASHINGTON D.C: EDUN, CARDOSO PARTICIPATE IN SPRING MEETING

Nigeria's Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun has officially kicked off his participation at the IMF Annual Meetings in Washington DC with a key discussion with IMF Managing Director, Kristalina Georgieva.

This follows the country's quest for economic growth and sustainable development as the Finance Minister, Olawale Edun took the centre stage at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Annual Meetings in Washington D.C. 

Also in attendance was the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Yemi Cardoso.

A statement from the Director Information and Public Relations of the Ministry, Mohammed Manga disclosed that "the meeting focused on Nigeria’s economic growth prospects, highlighting the critical need to enhance social protection systems, and reviewed the significant progress achieved under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ambitious reform agenda."
