Qatar National Day: Nigeria Congratulates Qatar.

The Federal Government of Nigeria commended the commitment and strategic efforts made by the State of Qatar in the promotion of global peace; and more so, the excellent contributions to humanitarian services in different parts of the world.

This is as Nigeria's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, also sent congratulatory greetings to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, His Excellency, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, on the occasion of their National Day. 

According to the Minister, "It is, therefore, a great honour to extend our very sincere wishes to you, the government, and the people of Qatar on the auspicious occasion of your National Day.

"The Government of Nigeria notes with countless satisfaction the excellent relations between our two countries and the efforts we are making to build on these firm foundations for the benefit of our people.

We therefore wish the government and the people of Qatar peace, prosperity, progress and Nigeria’s continuing friendship and support.
