SENATOR LA: Kaduna Central Constituents Bash "Kaduna Elders Forum " Over Sponsored Publication ..... Says Publication Ridiculous, Shameful and Attention Seeking

Residents of Kaduna Central Senatorial District have berated a group that have supposedly, sponsored a report in the media space requesting for the recall of their representative in the Hallowed Chambers of the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, popularly addressed as Senator LA.

The group, under the aegis of "Kaduna Elders Forum" in a statement signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Inuwa Bala Rigasa had during the yuletide season, allegedly promoted and had cause to publish, a statement requesting for the recall of Distinguished Senator Lawal Adamu Usman on the basis of "non-performance". 

While many have described the sponsored publication by the Inuwa Bala Rigasa group as laughable, childish and an attention seeking document, others expressed outrage and demanded a public apology from the so-called group.

It is recalled that only a few days before the embarrassing publication, the philanthropist cum politician had raised an alarm following what he described as an alleged assassination attempt on his life in the state; a matter which is still under investigation by the Police. "This attempt at either blackmail or coercion aimed at seeking any form of recognition is dead on arrival," one resident told this medium.

A top confidant of the Distinguished Senator Lawal who opted not to be named, said the whole thing is as ridiculous, laughable shameful for a group who supposedly claim to be elders.

"Who in the entire state will say he or she is unaware of the philanthropic nature and achievements of the Senator LA ever before he emerged as the winner of the election in 2023? On inauguration, this man showed his class, continued love for his constituents and residents of the entire state irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliations, through visible empowerment programmes, educational sponsorships, provision of employment opportunities and quality representation on the floor of the Senate Chambers where he also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education (Secondary and Basic).

"They are not happy with our achievements but who are we to argue with them, he stated. We sponsored 4 bills and also sponsored 4 motions in the Senate that have quality impact on the lives of not just constituent members but the state and nation as a whole. These are all there. We built 100 smart classes and we have also paid scholarship for 1000 students across Kaduna state.  

"On the issue of empowerment, we empowered 430 individuals with #500,000 naira for small scale business and ⁠we are building 100 solar power boreholes across the 7 local government councils.  We distributed 10, 0000 bags of fertilizer to farmers cross kaduna central senatorial district and all of these were achieved within one year." 

"We know our Senator LA and his great plans for his constituents and the good people of Kaduna State. This is diversionary, mischievous and totally laughable," he stated.

Meanwhile, a political activist and public commentator, Comrade Jamiu Mustapha has called for calm among the supporters of Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, noting that the performance of the Distinguished Senator in the last 18 months are evidential proof of quality representation and should therefore, not allow themselves to be distracted from the main picture; a better tomorrow for all.

Describing the allegations by the so-called "Kaduna Elders Forum" as politically motivated by some faceless few who have become threatened of the growing popularity of Senator LA, which is not bought but, genuinely gained, Comrade Mustapha warned that the effort of these group under the payroll of some politically-scared few, is simply aimed at attempting to tarnish a record of years of dedication to service of the people and society.
He warned that such attempts will only help to uplift the already soaring  personality of Distinguished Senator Lawal Adamu Usman whose quest for quality and sustainable development, education, empowerment of his people remain his top priority.

Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, as a leader has remained committed to the growth, progress and development of the Kaduna Central Senatorial District and the state in general. 

Jamiu Mustapha however, expressed strong confidence that the group and their faceless sponsors have failed woefully by their ridiculous publication which is obviously aimed at 2027 that is still two good years away.

"The good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial District know their true leaders and have not in any way, regretted the massive and overwhelming support they gave to their representative at the last election and are ever ready to repeat the support and vote, for continued quality representation and leadership." He stated
