IMF/WORLD BANK SPRING MEETINGS: PATE URGES GLOBAL HEALTH FINANCIAL PARTNERS TO CONSIDER CHANGES
The comprehensive reform of the nation's health sector by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his landmark investments in the health sector have attracted global attention and a greater willingness of cooperation amongst the international community.
This was the disclosure of Nigeria's Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, when he met with top global philanthropies and donors to provide them with specific insight into how future investments and cooperative finance can be channeled for the maximum benefit of the Nigerian population.
Prof. Pate made this known, among several meetings held on the sidelines of the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington D.C. in his bilateral meeting with the incoming President of the World Health Assembly and has also, established a mission to the Asian Pacific for the attraction of investments in localized health services manufacturing in Nigeria.
