ADELABU HAILS ALESHINLOYE ON APPOINTMENT AS FCC MEMBER REPRESENTING OYO STATE

Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Nigeria's Minister of Power has extended warm congratulations to Prince Abass Aleshinloye, former Chairman of Oluyole Local Government and immediate past Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), on his well-merited appointment as a member of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) representing Oyo State.  


In a statement issued Monday, Chief Adelabu described Prince Aleshinloye as a seasoned administrator, grassroots mobilizer, and dedicated public servant whose leadership has left indelible marks in Oyo State’s political and developmental landscape.  


"Prince Aleshinloye’s appointment is a testament to his unwavering commitment to equitable governance and nation-building. Having served with distinction as a local government chairman and ALGON leader, he brings a wealth of experience that will undoubtedly strengthen the Federal Character Commission’s mandate of ensuring fairness and inclusivity in national representation," the Minister stated.  


The Minister also extended appreciation to President President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment, stating that the appointment reflects the President’s well known ability in handpicking and rewarding worthy individual for appointment.


Chief Adelabu expressed confidence that the former Oluyole LG helmsman would uphold the principles of fairness, meritocracy, and federal balance in discharging his duties, while also amplifying Oyo State’s interests at the national level.  


"I have no doubt that Prince Aleshinloye will excel in this new role, just as he has done in previous positions. His passion for service, coupled with his deep understanding of Nigeria’s socio-political dynamics, makes him an invaluable asset to the Commission and the nation at large," he added.  


The Minister prayed for divine wisdom and guidance for Prince Aleshinloye as he assumes this critical national assignment and reaffirmed his belief in the appointee’s capacity to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s unity and progress.
