REMEMBRANCE: 41 Years After and Counting..... My Father, My Pride

In Loving Memory of Our Father, Chief James Onotevure Emokiniovo Oyoyo (1920- Sept 27, 1984) |
"Those we love, don't leave us. They walk beside us."
It is with enduring love and deep respect that we remember our beloved father, Late Chief James Onotevure Emokiniovo Oyoyo—a man of great integrity, strength, and devotion.
He was more than a parent to us—he was our foundation, our guide, and a constant source of love and wisdom. As the first African to head the Elder Dempster Shipping Agency in Sapele, Delta State (then Mid-West Nigeria), he broke barriers with dignity and led with quiet strength.
His legacy lives on, not only in the history he helped shape, but in the hearts of his children and all who knew him. Though he departed this world in 1984, his spirit remains ever present—in our values, our unity, and the deep love he planted within our family.
Forever missed. Forever cherished.
Rest well, Daddy.
