The Federal Ministry of Finance has reacted to a video clip circulating on social media platforms alleging misconduct related to a Director's refusal to vacate office space upon retirement.
The Ministry in a statement issued and signed by the Director Information and Public Relations, Mohammed Manga FCAI, states that; "We state categorically that these allegations are completely unfounded, baseless, and unrelated to the Federal Ministry of Finance."
"The Federal Ministry of Finance wishes to clarify that the Director allegedly involved in the retirement dispute is not a staff member of our Ministry. We unequivocally dissociate ourselves from any issues or circumstances surrounding the retirement of the said Director, who serves in a different Ministry." The statement read.
"The Federal Ministry of Finance emphasizes the importance of professionalism, decorum, and respect among colleagues, particularly during transitions such as retirement.
"We urge the public to verify information through official channels before accepting it as true and to disregard any speculation or misinformation regarding this matter." The statement concluded.
