APC CONVENTION: DAPO, UMAHI LEADS CRUCIAL VENUE INSPECTION AS PREPARATIONS INTENSIFY

Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, on Sunday joined leaders of Nigeria's leading political party; the All Progressives Congress APC to advance preparations for the party’s forthcoming National Convention.
Senator Umahi attended the meeting of the National Convention Sub-Committee on Venue, where he serves as Vice Chairman, with the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Dapo Abiodun, as Chairman.
At the meeting held on March 8, 2026, members reviewed key arrangements aimed at ensuring a smooth and well-organized convention. Discussions focused on critical issues including security, branding, VIP arrangements, uniforms and other logistics required for the successful hosting of the event.
Following the deliberations, members of the committee proceeded to Eagle Square, the venue of the upcoming convention, for an on-the-spot inspection to assess the level of readiness and ensure that necessary arrangements are in place.
