As I was growing up and I am still growing oooo!

I came across so many of these sayings:

1) IF MEN WERE GOD
2)HE WHO FIGHTS AND RUN AWAY LIVES TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY
3) THE EVIL THAT MEN DO LIVES AFTER THEM
4) THE DEVIL YOU KNOW
5) IF YOU CANNOT BEAT THEM JOIN THEM
AND LOTS AND LOTS ….

Today I want to talk about number 5;

IF YOU CANNOT BEAT THEM, THEN JOIN THEM!

This particular phrase has been so used and still in use that it has become nauseating to me.

Something happened just some few days ago when I came across Sowore condemning Peter Obi for joining forces with ADC and its "co-evil Travelers" all in the name of becoming President.

So many People who are Pro-Bobo Chicago were celebrating it… Posting and reposting, tweeting and retweeting.

For the avoidance of doubt, I am not celebrating or castigating anyone in this my write up.

I am only using this as a medium of using this saying; “If you cannot beat them, join them” Which I THINK Peter Obi MAY have done.

My Opinion though!

Now, this is my own opinion because, I am always good at looking at things from a different perspective these days that I am “growing” (deliberately used) older.

My take in this statement is this: If you cannot beat them, then, join them and BEAT THEM WITH THEIR SYSTEM WHILE IN THEIR MIDST!

You see that? You will fight better and faster inside the system significantly because, you now know them and use what they have then joined altogether with yours, to beat them.

You cannot stand on the sides as an uninvited person in any deliberation or conversation, no matter how knowledgeable you are and participate in a Meeting or Decision making.

Now let us come to the person I am using in this my own myopic opinion, PETER OBI.

I may be wrong in some of my analogous comments but please, just understand my take here.

Peter Obi left PDP after his sojourn from APGA to LP which brought him to limelight proper, right?

The rest is History.

Now, let’s examine his stay with LP since after the 2023 general election, how the party has degenerated from good, bad, worse and wo**t.

Do you in your truthful Godly mind expect him Peter, to still remain in such a Party that is torn between loyalty to The Ruling Party and self aggrandized persons?

If you ask me, Peter did the needful by leaving LP so that what happened to Zamfara State Governor will not happen to him after winning.

Now, tell me what Party you think he can join again?

He went into ADC.

This where my own caveat plays JOIN THEM AND BEAT THEM WITH THEIR OWN SYSTEM WHILE IN THEIR MIDST.

In 2022/23, so many people underrated the Obi movement; No structure, no base, no spending of shishi, no this, no that and so forth and so on……

The man Peter has joined a party that is well structured with lots of “Criminals” according to Sowore. Now, you ALL are condemning him?

What a people we are!

Please I should be spared! In Politics, the saying goes; No permeant friend or foes.

INTEREST is the core NOUN. Let me digress a bit.

So, you think all these Governors who are quitting their fdf for akpc are doing it because they suddenly found light?
Dig deep.

You will understand. There are many colours to it.

Hmmm!

I DEY LOOK ALL OF THEM WITH GBEJERO EYE. Warri parlance!

If you want to get to the core of a system, join the system either as a DISGUISED like a Policeman or as a Full member.

Peter Obi chose the best route to achieve his interest as far as I am concerned.

The force he has joined is FORMIDABLE.

Please Sowore, let Peter be. Dey your Dey make Peter Dey him Dey jare.

Like I earlier posited I AM NOT TAKING SIDES WITH PETER OBI BUT ONLY TO EXPRESS/VENT/AIR my opinion.
