Abuja- The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Transmission Company of Nigeria TCN, Engr. (Dr.) Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz has received felicitations on his reappointment by Mr President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) for another four-year term.

Celebrating Engr Sule A. Abdulaziz is the Abuja Power & Energy Correspondents APEC via a statement jointly signed by Emmanuel Onotevure and Raphael Ekpang, Chairman and Secretary respectively.

The duo of Onotevure and Ekpang, on behalf of APEC, described Dr. Abdulaziz's reappointment as well-deserving, citing his exemplary leadership, professionalism, and steadfast commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s power transmission infrastructure.

The group noted that his tenure has witnessed notable improvements in grid stability, the execution of key transmission expansion projects, and the implementation of strategic reforms that have repositioned TCN as a critical pillar in Nigeria’s power sector.

APEC further stated that the renewed mandate reflects the confidence reposed in his capacity to deliver, while also underscoring the importance of continuity in sustaining the ongoing transformation of the transmission subsector.

“We are confident that under his continued leadership, the Transmission Company of Nigeria will record even greater milestones, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute significantly to Nigeria’s socio-economic development,” the statement read.

The correspondents also urged Engr. Abdulaziz to sustain the current momentum, deepen innovation, and strengthen collaboration with key stakeholders across the power sector.

APEC wished him a successful and impactful tenure as he began another phase of leadership at TCN.
