Nigeria's Minister of State for Works, Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo Esq, has felicitated media professionals across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha.

Goronyo, in a statement issued and signed by his SA Media, Abdullahi Mohammed, praised the media for its dedication, professionalism and commitment to informing the public while strengthening democracy through responsible reporting.

He said journalists continue to play a vital role in promoting national unity, accountability, peace and development across the country.

The Minister also thanked media practitioners for their support and cooperation in projecting the activities, programmes and achievements of the Federal Ministry of Works.

Goronyo urged the press to sustain its watchdog role as the nation navigates its development challenges.
