BREAKING: Makarfi. Fayose Disowns Dickson's Reconciliatory Committ

The tussle between the Modu Sheriff and Makarfi groups of the People's Democratic Party, PDP seems to be attaining a new dimension.

The Dickson Committee as constituted by Senator Ali Modu Sheriff led group has been described as unconstitutional and as such, disowned by the Makarfi group which is enjoying the backing of the Chairman of the PDP Governor's Forum, Peter Ayodele Fayose.

Some leaders of the party are however routing for the Sheriff group while others say, the Makarfi group remains the recognized body representing the party.

Senator Ali Sheriff has repeatedly stated that at the appropriate time, he will respond to the Chairman of the PDP Governor's Forum, Ayodele Fayose.

Meanwhile, Sheriff has been described as not trustworthy to lead the party. This is from the Makarfi group.

Prof Abubakar Suleiman, former Minister of Planning, speaking on national television believes that Sheriff should back down.

"Dickson did not get the backing of the former president, Goodluck Jonathan and seems to be playing out a script".
