19 MONTHS OF PERSEVERANCE PAYS OFF; KANU Goes Home
After several months in detention and many failed attempts in the courts to get justice or secure bail, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nwannekaenyi “Nnamdi” Kenny Okwu Kanu has finally gain freedom.
Bail came to the IPOB leader after spending nineteen months in Kuje Prison.
A dual citizen of the UK and nigeria, Nnamdi Kanu has been the arrowhead for IPOB and a political activist resident in the United Kingdom but was arrested in Lagos on 14 October, 2015 by President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.
His freedom comes after fulfilling his bail conditions.
