Irate Mob Attacks NASS members, Destroy Cars in Gov's Convoy in Katsina

It took the timely intervention of security operatives to forestall angry supporters of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Katsina state from mobbing two members of the National Assembly Se. Abu Ibrahim (APC Katsina south) and Alhaji Amiru Tukur (APC Katsina), member representing Bakori/Danja Federal constituency.


Both  members of the National Assembly narrowly escaped mob action at a political event organised by Katsina state chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday in Funtua.

It took the combined teams of security personnel to rescue the two notable politicians including the governors’ entourage.

According to NAN reports, some vehicles in the entourage of the governor were smashed by the irate youths while tear-gas was used to disperse the crowds by the security personnel.
