BREAKING: CODE OF CONDUCT TRIBUNAL DECLARES NO CASE AGAINST SARAKI

After several months of waiting the outcome of the hearing against Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki, who has been facing allegations of false declaration of assets, the matter is now put to rest.

Late Wednesday morning, the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) discharged the "false asset declaration case against the Senate President, Bukola Saraki".

In its much publicized hearing, the CCT declared that there is no case by prosecution against Dr. Bukola Saraki, adding that the evidences available are not substantial enough to continue with case.

It could be recalled that the trial od Saraki started with so much drama culminating in a large percentage of senators throwing their support behind the Senate President as the trial was viewed as an attempt to muzzle, embarrass and humiliate him. This move ended up with the Senate President being put in the dock and grilled.

Many have however seen the discharge o Saraki as one that will help move the nation forward, especially in these trying times of our democracy.
