NEWS:. SUPREME COURT SACKS HERMAN HEMBE FROM NASS

The Supreme Court yesterday sacked the member representing Vandikwa/Konshisha Federal Constituency of Benue State at the House of Representatives of the National Assembly.

Accordingly, Honourable Herman Iorwase Hembe has been relieved of his duties on Friday, June 23, 2017, as the Supreme Court ruled that, he, Herman Hembe was not the valid candidate of Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

He was immediately replaced with Dorathy Mato, who was declared the right winner of the APC primaries.

The embattled Herman Hembe was also ordered to return all the salaries and allowances he received as lawmaker since 2015 when he was sworn in.
