OGBORU CONDEMNS ATTACK ON SENATOR OMO AGEGE

APC chieftain, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru has expressed his sadness over the reported attack by yet to be identified persons on Senator Ovie Omo Agege (APC) in Warri, Delta state over the weekend.


Chief Ogboru, who deplored the attack on the Distinguished Senator while he was rendering constituency services to his people at Uvwie yesterday, described it as very saddening.

The People's General, visibly angry, stated in a statement signed by Mr. Tony Omolu, that the attack was an unwarranted harassment and intimidation.

"This is very provocative, condemnable and totally unacceptable", Chief Ogboru said.

Speaking further, Chief Ogboru appealed to APC youths and faithfuls to be calm in the phase of this beastly confrontation, warned that if these barbaric actions are not arrested by relevant security agency, they are capable of throwing the state into a hotbed of violent political turmoil that would serve no one any good.

"Delta state belongs to all of us", Ogboru stated as he called on the Police authorities to unravel the perpetrators and sponsors of this ugly incident and bring them to book, because, this show of shame would not be tolerated another time, the people's General added.
