UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN EKITI ALUMNI HONOURS DR. OWOLABI @ 64th BIRTHDAY ON ITS 12TH ANNUAL ALUMNI LECTURE
These great men and women have excelled in diverse fields and are today, highly successful personalities, either in politics or other social pursuits of life endeavours.
Some of these great personalities who by chanced fate, gathering under the Alumni Association, Ekiti state chapter of the University, have all come around to celebrate one of their own during its 12th Annual Alumni Lecture with the theme: "LEADERSHIP WITH CHARACTER".
Who else received such an honour other than one of West Africa's pride in the aviation industry; a man of great repute, exceptional grace, Chief Aerospace Medical Consultant and political party leader and Christian Minister; Who else but Dr. Makanjuola Akindele Owolabi.
The intimidating but unique profile of Dr. M.A.O has placed him at a vantage position to project fear in heart and minds But then his competitors. But then, this is a Servant and Minister of God; kind, loving and of gentle disposition.
Dr. M.A.O is a man exceptionally qualified for leadership with his known philanthropy which has endeared him to his people of Ekiti state.
His contributions to the growth and development of his community is unparalleled.
The 12th Annual Alumni Lecture where Dr. M.A.O appeared as the Guest Lecturer, had former Ghanaian President, Jerry Rawlings in attendance including many other distinguished personalities.
