CHIEF EDDIE ONO SORHUE HAILS OKOWA AS DELTA CELEBRATES 26TH ANNIVERSARY, CONGRATULATES MUSLIMS ON EID EL KABIR.

Olorogun Eddie Ono Sorhue, chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, has congratulated the administration of Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and the good people of Delta state as they continue to celebrate the 26th Anniversary of its existence since its creation in 1991.

Chief Sorhue, a political strategist cautioned deltans to be wary of divisive elements who are eager to spread falsehoods just to gain cheap popularity in order to destroy the gains and achievements of the Senator Okowa administration.



Speaking with NAIJ NEWS ALERT in Warri, Delta state, Chief Eddie Sorhue counseled the opposition to be mindful of its attempts to denigrate the PDP government under the leadership of Governor Okowa as their efforts to mislead the people of Delta state will come to nought.

Olorogun Sorhue advised the opposition APC in the state to gets its facts before rushing to air falsehoods as Nigerians are now wiser.

"Their antics have since been exposed as the slogan with which they deceived majority of Nigerians in 2015 can no longer hold water as even the deaf, the dumb and blind, now know better", he stated.

On the challenges of flooding in parts of the state, Chief Sorhue commiserated with those affected by flood as the government is concerned over the plight of all those affected but also, cautioned against indiscriminate dumping of refuse and waste in water channels which is detrimental to the efforts of government.

"Flooding is not peculiar to Delta state alone but that does not in any way imply that the government is sitting idle as it has promised to tackle the situation".

"Spreading falsehoods about government and governance, is not the proper channel to use in winning or gaining support of the people. The propaganda of hate, vile and malicious tales does not translate to vibrant opposition", Olorogun Sorhue counseled.

In his goodwill message to all Muslims in Nigeria, Chief Sorhue congratulated Muslims for yet another season of celebration of  Eid El Kabir.

He admonished all Muslims across the country to continue remain on the path of righteousness and maintain peaceful coexistence with their neighbours, at all times.

Chief Sorhue enjoined deltans to continue to have faith in " the PDP government in the state as it is the only true democratic party in Nigeria as the APC has failed woefully in providing a healthy economy for the people with its divisive, unfocused, visionless and unpopular policies that have further into starvation", he said.

"PDP remains the best political party that has the well-being of the people in mind and is the only party that can provide qualitative leadership", Sorhue emphasized.
