WEDDING FATIHA: ALIYU ADAMU TAKES HAJARA IBRAHIM BAKO AS WIFE

Top personalities from Katsina and Kontagora in Katsina and Niger states were gathered recently in Kaduna, the political nerve centre of the North to celebrate with Senator Nuhu Aliyu and his amiable wife, Hajia Saratu during the Wedding Fatiha of their grand-daughter, Hajara Bako.

The marriage ceremony which was between the families of Late Galadiman Katsina, AlhajiAbdulmumin Adamu and Late Garkuwan Kontagora, Alhaji Bako Mohammed Kontagora had several highly influential personalities from the corridors of power in attendance.

Among those present was the KADCCIMA President and Chief Executive Officer of Farida Ventures, Hajia Mohibat Dangote.

The bride, Hajara Ibrahim Bako is the grand-daughter of Senator Aliyu whose wife, Hajia Saratu Iya Aliyu is the 1st Deputy National President of NACCIMA.

Aliyu Adamu, describing his beautiful bride as "a gift", prayed for Allah's bountifulness in their marriage. Coincidentally, the groom bears the same surname with his wife's grand-parents, (Aliyu).
