Yakubu Obande- The efforts of the Katsina state governor is developing sports in the state has been applauded by the chairman of Malumfashi United Football Club as it has helped promote football, which is globally acknowledged as a unifying game.



The Chairman of Malumfashi United FC, Alhaji Sirajo Baba made this known while appreciating the upgrading of the Township Stadium in Malumfashi by the Katsina state government under the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, the Executive Governor, described as a sports loving personality and dependable leader.

Sirajo Baba commended His Excellency for the upgrading of the Township Stadium ahead of the 2018 football league season describing the governor as a genuine lover of sports desirous of the development of sporting facilities in his state.

According to Baba, the directive of His Excellency to contractors handling the construction work being carried out at the facility is enough proof of his good intentions to take sports, especially the game  football, to a higher level.

The Malumfashi United FC boss has however, urged supporters of the club to continue to provide their support to the club as the club is poised to attain greater heights in the league and make the state proud.
