Delta State Governor, Senator Arthur Okowa Bags NBA Award

Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta State has been conferred with an award by the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) following his outstanding contributions to the Judiciary.


The NBA award on the Delta state governor is for his support to the administration of criminal justice reform being put in place by the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA.

Dr. Okowa who was ably represented by the Secretary to the State Government Barr. Festus Ovie Agas, expressed his gratitude for being found fit and proper person for the award.

The governor commended the NBA for the efforts to make the criminal justice system more humane and effective.

The Smart Agenda Governor also reassured the NBA that Delta State Government will continue to partner with them in their effort to strengthen the criminal justice system and on other worthy programmes of the body.
