POWER: ONUESOKE LAUDS TBEA ENERGY ON PROPOSED BUILDIBG OF POWER PLANT IN DELTA

With private investors involvement in improving the nation's power problems seems set to attain positive results.

To this end, the Network for Good Governance, N4GG, Country Director, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has lauded the management of Onose Tbea Energy Limited, on their proposed  building of a 400MW Combined Power Plant.


The power plant which is expected to be sited at Ekrokpe and Ekrejegbe communities in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta state, is expected to boost power supply in Delta state.

N4GG Country Director, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, who is also a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, gave the commendation today at the plant site in Ekrokpe and Ekrejegbe communities, when he led members of his N4GG members on a un-scheduled visit to the leaders of both communities.

"I must commend the management of this company for their decision to build this power plant here; this will go a long way to improve the socio-economical development of the people and also, help to curb unemployment and youth restiveness in the area”, Onuesoke stated.

An elated Onuesoke also hailed leaders of both communities for their show of understanding and cooperation with the company, urging them to ensure that the existing conducive atmosphere with the company is sustained.

"Let me also commend the leaders of both communities for their steadfastness, cooperation and understanding with the company".

"I am impressed with the level of earthwork already on ground and I hereby urge leaders of both communities to do everything possible to maintain and sustain the conducive atmosphere that currently exists”.

"I call on other private companies to key into the state government's Smart Agenda to come to Delta State to set up their plants and stations to do business".

"Delta State is peaceful, accommodating and strategic, in terms of raw materials, human resources and market outlay to do business. It is high time other multinational organizations start emulating Onose Tbea Energy Limited", he further added.
