BREAKING: OUTBREAK OF CHOLERA CLAIMS 2 IN KADUNA

Reports reaching this medium states that, two (2) students of a Girls Secondary School in Kaduna North Local Government have reportedly died as a result of an outbreak of Cholera.

However, the speedy response and proactive measures adopted by the Honourable Commissioner in charge of the Kaduna state Ministry of Health, Dr. Paul Dogo, is said to have effectively checkmated the likely spread.

A source in the affected school revealed that, the state Commissioner of Health with medical personnel drawn from the ministry and other health related institutions in the state have helped to contain the possible spread and what could have resulted into an epidemic.

Concerned parents have commended the state government for its proactive response in rising to the occasion.

Efforts to reach the Honourable Commissioner to get details were futile as at the time of filing in this report. A close source disclosed that the Commissioner was fully on ground to supervise the exercise.
