2019 WARRI FED. CONSTITUENCY: EREYITOMI EMERGES WINNER OF PDP PRIMARIES
Following conclusion of the primaries of the the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has elicited jubilation which has continued in all parts of Warri as Chief Thomas Ereyitomi (JP) clinched the PDP ticket for Warri Federal Constituency Seat in a free, fair, credible and acceptable primary held at Warri City Stadium, Wednesday October 3, 2018.
Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, JP, beat other three contestants including the incumbent outgoing lawmaker representing Warri Federal Constituency for the past 12 years, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju who polled the lowest votes at the exercise, Hon. Daniel Mayuku and Mr. Mofe Pirah respectively.
Ereyitomi's victory came in a keenly contested primary election accepted by both contenders as a clear battle and victory earned by popularity and the will of delegates.
The Warri Federal Constituency Seat PDP candidate, Chief Ereyitomi JP who is a Chief from the reverred Warri Kingdom, former Oil-Rich Ugborodo Community Trust Chairman as well as immediate past Commissioner who represented Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality in the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC and also, a successful business man and politician assured all Warri Federal Constituents of improvement on their lives, attract needed development to the constituency.
Speaking shortly after the emergence of Chief Ereyitomi as PDP candidate for Warri Federal Constituency, staunch supporter of Chief Ereyitomi, Amb. Toyin Agbolaya who is also a Justice of Peace, JP lauded PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, PDP National Working Committee, Delta State PDP leadership and delegates of Warri Federal Constituency for their trust, beleive and victorious ballots given to Chief Ereyitomi to become PDP candidate for Warri Federal Constituency Seat, adding that all is now set for the general elections in 2019.
