DELTA SOUTH SENATORIAL CONTEST 2019: Manager, Ejele Slug It Out At PDP Primaries

Today, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State will conduct primary election to produce candidate for Delta South in the 2019 general elections.


It would be recalled that Sen. James E. Manager, alias Egbage and Hon. Michael Diden, popularly known as Ejele, member representing Warri North Constituency and Chief Whip of Delta State House of Assembly will be slugging  it out at the primaries today.

The Liberator can report that accreditation of PDP delegates is presently ongoing at the Oleh township stadium, Delta state.

Anxiety is on the air as both aspirants fate remains hanging in the web of uncertainties.

However, while Sen. Manager is bent on returning to the senate as incumbent, Hon. Diden is also on a mission to unseat him.

Meanwhile, in what could be described as a political coincidence, the All Progressives Congress, APC is presently conducting primaries to pick its senatorial candidate between Dr. Emmanuel  Ewetan Uduaghan, former governor of Delta State and his rival High Chief Michael Johnny, a major power bloc in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Nevertheless, it would be recalled that APC is also conducting its senatorial primaries at Oleh, Delta State.

Today, Delta South is in a big political battle of wits ahead of the 2019 general elections.
