DELTA GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS: Esanubi Vows To Make Delta A Centre of Excellence

The African Action Congress (AAC)  Governorship Candidate in the 2019 General Elections in Delta State, Comrade Frank Ufuoma Esanubi, has vowed to make Delta State a centre of excellence.

This was made known in a statement issued and signed by his Director of Media and Publicity of Frank Ufuoma Esanubi Campaign Organisation (FUECO), Monday Ojomah on the occasion of the 2019 New Year celebration.

Comrade Frank Ufuoma Esanubi, a foremost trade union activist, in the statement, acknowledged the current challenges being experienced in the state ranging from massive unemployment, lack of proper health care facilities, perennial flooding in coastal communities, poor funding of the educational sector, and promised to address these anomalies when he and Rev. Udoka Peace Ossaiga, are elected the next Governor, and Deputy Governor of the State in 2019.

"Comrade Esanubi therefore, solicits the support of all Deltans while restating the priority areas of his administration to be "job creation, infrastructural development, prompt payment of salaries of workers at all level, provision of business set-up funds up to One Million Naira (N1,000,000) to fresh graduates, and Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000) for skilled workers among other laudable initiatives".

He decried a situation where funds which are supposed to be deployed into meaningful projects are used in settling over 3,000 political aides without any commensurate service rendered to the State.

He therefore, promised that his people oriented government will right these wrongs, and make Delta State the Centre of Excellence.

Finally, he wished all Deltans a happy and prosperous 2019 as he enjoined them to get their Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) ready to take Delta State back from the hands of antiquated politicians who have been recycling themselves since 1999.
