El-Rufai Receives Delegation of EFCC Kaduna Zonal Office Inside Sir Kashim Ibrahim House
The efforts of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC at eradicating corruption in the country has received additional boost from the Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai.
The Kaduna helmsman gave this boost on Wednesday while playing host to a delegation from the EFCC, led by the Zonal Director of the agency in Kaduna, Mailafia Yakubu who paid him a courtesy visit at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House.

The Governor used the opportunity to call on Nigerians, most especially Kaduna state indigenes to support the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in the fight against corruption.
He assured the commission that the state will work hand in hand with the EFCC in tackling corruption in the state by giving the commission all the necessary support needed, saying transparency is key in his government.
Gov. Nasir el-Rufai further stated that the state government has "enacted state laws that will help in regulating corruption cases ravaging the state".
Mailafia Yakubu, EFCC Zonal Head Kaduna state, told the Governor that the Commission is ready to get rid of corruption in the country, saying; "our job is to get rid of corruption for the betterment of our generation and the generation yet unborn".
Mr. Yakubu further stated that "the fight against corruption is a fight for all and the commission needs everyone's support to achieve its mandate".
The EFCC Kaduna Zonal Office head also appreciated the state government for creating the Kaduna State Geographical Information System KADGIS which helps in dealing with land scams cases in the state.
At the end of the courtesy visit, Mr. Mailafia Yakubu presented to the Governor, Information, Education and Communication materials of the agency.
