"Remain Strong In Christ"...Eddie Ono-Sorhue Enjoins Deltans @ Easter

"We can not truly celebrate and enjoy the victory of Easter when we refuse to pray for our state and government"...Ono-Sorhue

Prominent Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta state, Olorogun Eddie Ono-Sorhue has enjoined Christian faithful in Delta state and the country at large, to remain steadfast in prayers and remember why Jesus Christ died on the Cross.

Ono-Sorhue, a political leader of great repute who is also a member of the Advisory Council to the Delta state Governor, called on Christians to pray for the leadership in Delta state even as they celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter, saying that the people must remember that, "to be dead to an old lifestyle and risen to a new one is what Christ did for us. But to experience that new lifestyle now is our responsibility".

"We can not truly celebrate and enjoy the victory of Easter when we refuse to pray for our state and government".

"We must be prepared to make sacrifices and be Godly in our actions and provide needed support to our elected leaders in our beloved Delta state. Our prayer for the good of life will only be answered when we support the Okowa led government in his quest to provide Deltans quality leadership and genuine dividends of democracy".

Eddie Ono-Sorhue enjoined that "as Jesus Christ demonstrated unimaginable courage to preach and teach the Word, especially at Easter, we must endeavour to replicate same".

"Therefore, as Christians celebrate Easter to commemorate the trials, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, they must have the courage to preach and spread the word of God across our land", he counselled.
