BREAKING NEWS: ELECTORAL OFFICERS OF INEC IN 23 LGA'S IN KADUNA UNDER SEVERE PRESSURE TO FALSIFY ELECTION RESULTS FOR GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS.
There is palpable tension in Kaduna state presently, following a new twist at the ongoing Election Tribunal sitting in the state capital.
This is coming from highly placed sources with INEC in the state as the APC and the state Governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai are already in the know of a likely order from the Tribunal, for a recount of votes of the last elections in which the All Progressives Congress, APC, was declared winner.
It will be recalled that the major opposition party, People Democratic Party, PDP had asked the Tribunal to allow for a recount of the votes following widespread falsification and manipulations of results by the ruling APC in the state to their favour.
Sources revealed to this medium that the Governor and his associates are in panic mode following failed attempts to persuade INEC at the state level into doing their bidding.
A top source at INEC in the state confided that with the way the PDP is positioning itself through the Tribunal and the facts on ground including witnesses presented, there are strong indications the el-Rufai administration is already on its way out of Sir Kashim Ibrahim House (Govt House).
A recount of votes, if acceded to, would spell doom for the APC in Kaduna and of course, would equally reflect on the outcome of the presidential elections and also on the Senatorial elections.
More details later.
