AMAECHI'S RENOMINATION: "VULTURES CONGREGATE AGAIN"... APC Students League
"The fact that Amaechi has very clean records in public service, is unyielding and speaks volume".... APC Students League.
"Their infantile allegations against Amaechi were proven to be fictitious and mere cocktail of lies and lacking in substance".
The group, under the aegis of APC Students League, in a statement signed and issued by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Oge Okparanta in the Rivers state capital on Monday, condemned the unnecessary attack against the former Governor of the state and also the immediate past Minister of Transportation, Dr. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, by people he described as vultures.
According to Okparanta, "the catalogue of provocative vituperations and campaigns of calumny launched against the former Governor of Rivers State and immediate past Transportation Minister, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in an unbridled determination to frustrate his reappointment into the federal cabinet is but, the brainchild of vultures arising from their odious congregation".
"Recall that the former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct new Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) and media guru, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze had raised alarm over a multi billion naira media war against Amaechi by the Rivers State Government under the supervision of a former Senator from Rivers South East and other key officials of the state government and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but assured their plans will not see the light of day", the statement read.
"The contemporary strife and rhetorics of contempt became obvious when the media office of the former Minister raised a similar alarm, confirming Chief Eze's revelation, and indeed they struck".
"At first, their chief target was to ensure that the name 'CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI is excluded from Mr. President's list of ministerial nominees, but they failed as their infantile allegations against Amaechi were proven to be fictitious and mere cocktail of lies and lacking in substance".
The group, in the statement, noted that "the fact that Amaechi has very clean records in public service, is unyielding and speaks volume".
"That notwithstanding, we must be battle ready to knock them off balance as they embark on yet another round of satanic congregation to concoct records, fabricate documents and dig up lies as tools to humiliate Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi at the National Assembly to frustrate his confirmation having failed in their previous plot", it stated.
"We salute the doggedness, steadfastness and resilience of Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze in guarding and shaping public morality which seems to be in flight in Rivers State, by exposing perpetrators of evil who are hell bent to bringing Amaechi to public odium".
In its conclusion, the group stressed that, "although vultures shall congregate, but surely they shall disintegrate".
