Bayelsa Governorship Primary: Blackmailers Attack Uche Secondus
"The Secondus led national executive in conducting a free, fair, credible and generally acceptable Presidential election primary that produced Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the party’s candidate in Port Harcourt.
"The national chairman has proven himself to be
above such irrational allegation put up by the so called PDP South South Youth
Vanguard”.
Following
insinuations and allegations of interference by the National Chairman of the
Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Prince Uche Secondus in the forthcoming
Governorship primaries in Bayelsa state, an aide of the party helmsman has
described the allegations as an attempt to blackmail the national chairman.
Speaking
exclusively with NAIJ NEWS ALERT, the aide who does not want to be mentioned revealed
that, Prince Secondus has grown taller above primordial sentiment such as being
leveled against him by a group known as PDP South South Youth Vanguard.
According
to the aide, the national chairman has proved himself to be a committed party
leader who has contributed immensely to the building and sustainability of the
PDP.
“Secondus
has an impeccable record of rebuilding the party from near ruins and led PDP to
electoral victory in the 2019 general elections’, she said.
She
noted with nostalgia, the unblemished record of the Secondus led national
executive in conducting a free, fair, credible and generally acceptable
Presidential election primary that produced Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the party’s
candidate in Port Harcourt.
"The
national chairman has proven himself to be above such irrational allegation put
up by the so called PDP South South Youth Vanguard”.
"It
is a clear indication that the group is being sponsored by certain persons in
Bayelsa PDP. They need to desist from such back stabbing and save the party
from an embarrassing mess”.
"Prince
Secondus openly told all aspirants last week that himself or any leader of the
party will not interfere in processes that will lead to the emergence of PDP
governorship candidates in both Bayelsa and Kogi states”.
"So,
this allegation is unjust, and an insult on the person of the national chairman”.
