DELTA STATE GOV APPOINTS 27 YEAR OLD OSSAI AS SPECIAL ASSISTANT.

Executive Governor of delta state, Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state has appointed a 27 year old graduate of the State owned University as a Special Assistant.

The new appointee, Ossai Ovie Success, was earlier appointed by Governor Okowa as Political Aide in 2015 at the age of 23 and following his exceptional contributions to the success of his administration up till 2019, has been elevated by His Excellency, to the position of Special Assistant on Special Duties.

Ossai’s earlier appointment earned him the recognition of being the youngest Political Appointee in Nigeria.

Born on 2nd February, 1992, hail from Ndokwa West in Delta State,  Ossai Ovie Success, in 2015 was a political aide (Special Duties, Media) to the Delta State Governor, Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and re-appointed not as political aide but Special Assistant.

A brief biography of Ossai Ovie Success reveals that he is also a blogger, social media Influencer, motivational speaker, an entrepreneur and CEO of Kovoso Resources Limited, CEO of Brarima Media Company.

He attended Emuseri Primary School, Jesse town from 1994 to 2000. He thereafter proceeded to Idjerhe Grammar School and Ugo Secondary School between 2000 and 2006, where he sat and obtained his WASC at the age of 16.

At age 18, he went on to attend the College of Education, Warri where he studied Computer and Economics and graduated in 2012 with a National Certificate in Education (NCE) and proceeded to Delta State University Abraka where he obtained his BSC ED In 2018.

While at the College of Education, Warri, Ossai Ovie Success was a member of the Students Union Government 2011/2012 session and Secretary to Social and Cultural Committee of the institution.

He was also a member of the National Association of Nigeria Students NANS/JCC Electoral Committee.

On July 6, 2015, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa appointed Mr. Ossai Ovie Success as his Political Aide on Special Duties at the age of 23 making him the youngest political appointee in Delta State and Nigeria.

What raised a few eyebrows concerning his appointment was his young age. But for those close to the Delta State government, the appointment of Ossai Ovie Success was purely on merit and did not come as a surprise. This was because he was an integral part of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s media campaign team.

After graduation, Ossai Ovie Success started blogging in 2013. He became an active blogger in 2015 with a custom domain: www.ossaioviesuccess.com, www.brarima.com after making name on Facebook.

He presently has over one million readers on his blog as well as thousands of subscribers.

As part of his social responsibility and wanting to give back to society, Ossai Ovie Success has awarded scholarships to several students within Delta State.

Ossai Ovie Success in 2018 was listed among 100 most influential youths in Nigeria alongside Wizkid, Davido , Simi , Mikel Obi, Ahmed Musa and more others.

In recognition of his sterling qualities, Ossai Ovie Success has been honoured by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) with a prestigious award as the Most Influential and Active Appointee in Delta State.

He has also won the Most Outstanding Political Appointee and the Youngest Appointee in Delta by Delta Heritage Award, the Nigeria Economics Students Association NESA Award in 2018.
