It was all accolades on Thursday, 22nd August 2019, for Godwin Idemudia, the General Manager, Corporate Communications of Eko Electricity Distribution Company EKEDC, following his admission into the prestigious class of Fellows at the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).

The Fellows of the Nigerian Institute of Management, it will be recalled, is the largest, trans-sectoral and multi-disciplinary professional Institute in Nigeria.

The investiture, which took place during the event for the ‘2019 Awards, Fellows and Spouses’ Day Luncheon’ of the institute at the Shell Hall of Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos, was declared open by the President and Chairman of the council of the institute, Prof. Olukunle Iyanda. 

One hundred and twenty-two astute (122) members of the institute bagged the fellowship awards, including Idemudia while six (6) fellows were admitted into the meritorious “Life Member” status.

Idemudia, an exceptional Senior Management Officer, has functioned in various management capacities in the course of his career.

He is a renowned power sector enthusiast with over 30 years of practice in the sector. He is also, a Public Relations and Corporate Communications specialist with a knack for managerial excellence.

Idemudia, while reacting to the conferment, said; “I am humbled by this recognition and my admission into the class of Fellows of this prestigious institute.
