Ahead of the forthcoming Miss NollyWood Beauty Pageant expected to hold in Asaba, Delta state, Special Assistant On Special Duties (Media) to Delta State Governor, Mr Ossai Ovie Success has charged the contestants to take their education serious.
Making this known on Wednesday during an unexpected visit to the Miss Nollywood Beauty Pageant Camp at the Benizia Hotel Asaba Delta state ahead of the beauty contest coming up Friday at Asaba, the Special Assistant to Governor Okowa counseled the contestants to embrace education seriously.
According to him, "Education is the bedrock of society. Being a Queen should not stop anyone from taking education serious", he advised.
"School is not a scam. Without education, you can't express yourself as a Queen. You don't have to abandon your education because you want to be a queen".
"The Okowa administration has provided conducive environment hinged on good governance as the panacea to ensure investor confidence in the state", he stated.
In Delta State, the environment is friendly and Deltans are lovers of entertainment, ready to support entertainers. Ossai revealed.
"The Governor Okowa administration has recorded successful stories from the entertainment World", he said.
Ossai who was appointed by the Delta State Governor Sen Ifeanyi Okowa At the age of 23 as Political Aide and at 27 as Special Assistant, thanked the organizers for choosing Delta state as the destination of choice for the prestigious Miss Nollywood Beauty Pageant.
