REAL REASONS KEYAMO WAS DROPPED FROM NIGER DELTA MINISTRY

Barely two weeks after his swearing-in as Minister of State for the Niger Delta Affairs Ministry, Festus Keyamo, SAN has been redeployed to the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

The development has since sent tongues wagging as to the real reasons behind the sudden cabinet reshuffle that saw the former Presidential Campaign spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari losing his very juicy portfolio for a lesser office.

Accordingly, revelation have began to trickle in which many is was as a result of the barrage of criticisms from political stakeholders and the social media.

Though social media are still investigating the sudden change in decision by the presidency to make such a swap, information available has it that apart from the prosecutor and accusef issue that had earlier been raised between Godswill Akpabio as an accused by the EFCC who was being prosecuted by Keyamo as prosecution lawyer for anti corruption related cases, another new twist has been unveiled.

NNA sources have revealed that there has arisen, a strong clash of personality and interest between the substantive Minister and the Minister of State, Keyamo.

The source revealed that clash was capable of creating serious conflicts which resulted in the cabinet change that saw to the redeployment of Tayo Alasoadura to the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs while Festus Keyamo moved to the Labour Ministry as the Minister of State.

A statement from the Director of Information at the Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey announced the change of baton which was with immediate effect as approved by the President.
