#KogiDecides: PDP Urges Supporters To Remain Undaunted.

"Enough is Enough! Kogi people have rejected Yahaya Bello and he remains rejected. We want WadAro"..... Okai.

With barely five days to the Governorship election in the Confluence state, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has enjoined all lovers of true democracy to remain strong and confident of victory at the polls.

Making this known on Monday in Lokoja, Comrade Austin Usman Okai told party supporters that the party's flagbearer, Ibrahim Wada and his running mate are the best hands to rescue the state from the grip of failure, debts and decadence that Kogi state has been plunged into by Yahaya Bello and his All Progressives Congress, APC.

"WadAro will return the fortunes of Kogi state to its people and bring to an end, the sadness that the state has witnessed in the last four years of their rule".

According to Okai, "we have never had it this bad until the advent of Yahaya Bello where crime and criminality has taken the front stage, humongous debts are piled up, workers are owed salaries for years, workers die every month from untold hardship, bad state of our roads and to make matters worse, thugs are unleashed upon persons who constructively, criticize or challenge the failure of the incumbent administration".

"The PDP candidate, Musa Wada will lead with the fear of God and has assured that every Kogi man and woman will become a stakeholder in his government. Enough of the maladministration and mismanagement of our state resources".

Okai warned that the threats of arrests of PDP members and loyalists is aimed at rigging the elections but we must resist this.

"The threats of arrests of party loyalists are aimed at scaring would be voters from exercising their franchise but we must resist this for the sake of our democracy and also, the future and well being of the next generation. Enough is enough", the PDP chieftain stated.

He called on the law enforcement agencies to stand on the true aide of the law and avoid being used as pawns to thwart genuine leadership that the people yearn for.

"As law enforcement agencies, it will bring great joy to the citizenry to have faith and confidence in your actions instead of allowing yourself to used politically to disenfranchise the people".

"Let the fear of God Almighty lead you in the discharge of your constitutional role and duties and not because of financial reward from heartless and ruthless politicians who have decided to plunge Kogi state into crises", Okai stated.

Speaking on WadAro leadership, the PDP chieftain urged all to remain law abiding but to stand firmly behind the party's candidates in their quest to rescue Kogi state as nobody can be bigger than Kogi state.

"Kogi people have decided and that decision will be reflected in the turnout of the votes as we are tired of the administration of Yahaya Bello and as such, every act of intimidation, harassments or use of thugs will not stop us from exercising our franchise".

"Enough is Enough! Kogi people have rejected Yahaya Bello and he remains rejected. We want WadAro", he stated.
