OUTCOME OF APPEAL COURT WILL NOT DETER ME…. SAYS ‘MR LA’.
"The outcome
of the judgment should not weaken our resolve, rather it should strengthen us”.... Mr. LA.
"Alhamdulillah, all thanks are due to God Almighty for giving us the resolve,
strength and resources to fight the establishment and give them a very good and
scary fight. To us, even this is a massive victory!
With
the outcome of the Court of Appeal sitting in Kaduna on the 2019 general
election for the Kaduna Central Senatorial elections, a frontline politician
and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Lawal Adamu Usman has
commended his teeming supporters and associates for their commitment and
loyalty.
Lawal
Adamu, popularly known and addressed as “MR LA’, the very committed philanthropist
has apologized to his supporters over his long silence following the outcome of
the Court of Appeal.
Mr.
LA, in a statement signed and issued by him, said; “I wish to apologize to my supporters in every
nook and cranny of our constituency for my long silence since the recent judgment
as regards our petition and appeal against the APC”.
According
to the PDP candidate for the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, “the outcome
of the judgment should not weaken our resolve, rather it should strengthen us”.
He
disclosed that he has received numerous calls from people most of which are of
the opinion that “the judgment was not fair to us”.
“One
is left with no option but to agree that the issues we raised before the
Election Petition Tribunal and subsequently, the Court of Appeal were not
thoroughly addressed but, as law abiding citizens, we accept their decisions
wholeheartedly, bearing in mind, that ‘The All Powerful, All Knowing God Will
Deal with our case in Accordance With His Will”.
Going
philosophical, Mr. LA stated; “In the light of the foregoing, I would say,
Alhamdulillah, all thanks are due to God Almighty for giving us the resolve,
strength and resources to fight the establishment and give them a very good and
scary fight. To us, even this is a massive victory!
“As
you are aware, the main reason I contested is in regards to the sufferings of
women and children, especially widows and orphans. I wish to announce that even
without office for now, I am still full of the conviction that our foundation, ‘LACares
Foundation’ will soon embark on what I and my friends thought is the best
approach to be of help to vulnerable women and children not just in the Kaduna
Central Senatorial District, but the whole state at large”.
“Our
activities will soon be unveiled in the areas of support services to women,
children and our ever growing youth population. Those who wish to continue with
school, traders and artisans will all receive boosts from our foundation in the
shortest time possible”, he promised.
The
Kaduna Central Senatorial District candidate on the platform of the PDP thanked
everyone for the support and faithfulness to our cause.
