Against the perceived hunger and poverty staring many Nigerians in the face, a good Nigerian citizen has shown a difference by returning a huge sum of #98m mistakenly lodged into his bank account, to the rightful owner.
The good Samaritan, whose name is Sunny Anderson Osiebe, is the Convener of the wave making 'Nigeria Legislative Conference' which highlights the happenings in the nation's legislature.
According to Mr. Anderson Osiebe, "we must learn to make a big difference in society and our life as, our name and personal integrity is paramount".
Spesking with Naij News Alert, Osiebe disclosed that much has been said about the N98 Million that was mistakenly paid into hid Corporate Account by an Abuja based company, Uche Sylva International Ltd.
"I willingly returned the $98m back to the owner", he stated.
"While some applauded the move, others rained insults on me. But in all, one thing is very clear, that the money does not belong to me".
"In life, there will come a time to be mindful of name, profession, business and family. Money certainly not the only thing".
He reiterated that it was a challenging period as at the time the huge sum dropped into his account but was never for once, tempted.
"Only God knows the financial crisis I was in at the time the money hit my account. I just rounded up the Legislative Conference 2019 with so much bills incurred. But I was determined to jump over that 'temptation'.
"I am not as poor as some people portrayed in their write up, but poverty of the mind is the worst that could happen to anybody".
He disclosed that it might not be very rosy but contentment happens to be very key in the life of any man or woman.
"I may not be a millionaire but, by the Grace of God, I have reached the stage where food, drink, house rent and Children's school fees is no longer a problem".
"We may be passing through a lot right now in our country, but with determination, prayer, hard work and sincerity especially from our LEADERS, Nigeria will be great AGAIN", he stated.
