Ubani Lauds Patriotic Disposition Of Abia Business Men

The business community in Abia state; one of the most vibrant commercial cities, Southeast of Nigeria have been described as a people with rare spirit of patriotism and uncommon magnanimity.

This was the assertion of Sir Don Ubani, the Deputy Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor; Office of the Deputy Governor when a prominent businessman in the state, Chief Patrick Onwuka, paid him a congratulatory visit in his office.

During the visit, Sir Ubani observed that the business community in Abia state has maintained their entrepreneurial ingenuity and developmental agenda, which, over the years, been recognized for.

Sir Ubani expressed gladness that Abia business community and captains of industry have been partners in development to the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

He emphasized that the Government alone cannot employ all the unemployed youths of the State and therefore, commended Chief Patrick Onwuka for deploying his business acumen as a platform to create jobs for Abia youths.

Ubani appreciated the business mogul for generously running a free training programme for interested Abia youths in Printing Technology.

Earlier in his speech, Chief Onwuka, who is the Managing-Director and Chief Executive Officer of Marabes Global Nigeria Limited, stated that the purpose of his visit was to show appreciation on the choice of Sir Don Ubani as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Governor, by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Chief Onwuka, a former Executive Chairman of Isialangwa-South Local Government Council, expressed optimism that Sir Ubani will perform optimally in his new position and, true to his pedigree, will sustain the confidence reposed in him by His Excellency, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Highlight of the visit was presentation of free digitized complementary cards printed by Marabes Global Printing Press for the Deputy Chief of Staff, by Chief Onwuka.

Among those that were present during the visit included, a retired Permanent Secretary in the state's Civil Service, Sir Emma Ogbonna, his wife and some staff of the Office of the Deputy Governor.
