The Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Youth Development, Chief David Seikiri Ugedi has hailed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his emergence as the Chairman South South Governors Forum Friday February 14, 2020.

Chief Ugedi described the emergence of Senator (Dr.) Okowa as testament to his quality and practical acceptable leadership role which has brought development across all parts of Delta state irrespective of the terrain.

He congratulated the Governor for his kind heartedness and love shown to every parts of Delta state, praying God to give him greater wisdom to pilot the affairs of the south south governors forum to enviable heights that will attract more federal government attention to the states that make up the region.

Governor's Aide on youth development charged youths to shun corruption and bad behaviours in order for their lives to be meaningful to the society where they belong.

Chief Ugedi a former PENGASSAN Branch Chairman, grassroot politician and youth mobilizer urged the people to continue to show support to the Delta state government as well as support contractors carrying out any projects in their various communities for timely completion and their usage.

Meanwhile, the Governor's aide has also congratulated the new Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewrujakpor respectively on their successful victory at the Supreme Court and their subsequent swearing in, adding that, with the new administration in Bayelsa more consolidated development will be witnessed.

He commended the immediate past Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson for his giant strides recorded while as governor. He as well appealed to  all Bayelsans to rally round support for the new administration in the state.
