GOV FINTIRI’S GOVT SETS TO RECRUIT MORE TEACHERS…. Directs Distribution of Invitation Letters.
The
Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon Umaru Fintiri has restated the commitment of
his administration to the development of the education sector of the state as
well as improvement of the teaching staff capacity.
The
Governor, in actualization of the policies and programmes of his administration
for the good of the people, has directed the Hon. Commissioner of Education and
Human Capital Development Hon. (Mrs) Wilbina Jackson to immediately, invite
Batch D1 Teachers for screening and their subsequent absorption.
With
this directive, invitation letters to the Six Hundred and Fifty Nine (659)
Claimants under the Batch DI Recruitment exercise for screening and verification
has been dispatched.
This
was the disclosure of the Honourable Commissioner for Education in a statement issued
by the Information Officer, John Atenka, on behalf of the Commissioner.
According
to the statement, all invited candidates are expected to come along with the
following documents:
I.
Original copy of letter of temporary appointments.
II. All relevant Credentials
III. Reporting letter from posted school.
The
statement noted that the screening exercise will start on Monday 9th March,
2020 by 9:00am at the Conference Hall Ministry of Education and Human Capital
Development, Yola.
It
further stated that, “in view of the expediency of the assignment, the Committee
will not entertain non-appearance on scheduled Date for each Senatorial zone as
such act will be interpreted as having forfeited the exercise”.
The
scheduled Dates are as follows;
Day 1: Monday, 9th March 2020 - Southern Senatorial Zone.
Day 2: Tuesday 10th March 2020 - Northern Senatorial Zone
Day 3: Wednesday 11th March 2020 - Central Senatorial Zone.
