Retired US Army Captain Prays For Dokpesi Family

A former Army Captain in the US Military has thrown his solidarity behind the family of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi following his testing positive to the Corona virus.

Bishop C. Johnson, in a statement made available on Sunday, drew attention of the public to the announcement made by the Dokpesi family that High Chief Raymond Dokpesi (Snr.), Raymond Dokpesi Jnr and 6 others in the family, had all tested positive to the coronavirus.

According to Bishop Johnson in his statement, "As you may have been made aware a few days ago by the NCDC, that our highly respectable elder statesman, media guru and father, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, founder of DAAR Communications, parent body of African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM radio, his son, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr, Chairman and CEO of DAAR Communications and six other members of their household tested positive for corona virus otherwise known as Covid-19".

"According to a statement from DAAR Communications, they have since been moved by the NCDC to University of Abuja Isolation Center Gwagwalada  where they are currently receiving treatment".

Bish Johnson, who is also the Chairman and CEO of Seabees Security Services and Consulting Nigeria Limited, noted that; "As has since been established all across the globe, Covid-19 is not a death sentence". 

"Our father and elder statesman, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi and his family are extra resilient people, so I have no doubt they will emerge from their current situation much stronger and more determined to continue fighting for the collective good of Nigeria and the world".

"On behalf of my family, myself, Christine, Chioma and Desirae, our thoughts and prayers are with the Dokpesis and the AIT family", he stated.
