SALLAH: "Seek God's Remedy For Failed Leadership In The Country".... Secondus Tells Muslims.

"The five years of APC administration has set the country dangerously backwards and only deep supplications in solemn times like this can make us see the face of the creator".... Secondus.

.......Says COVID-19 has exposed our failures.

National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus urges all

Nigerians, especially Muslims have been urged to use the period of Eid el Fitri to reflect on the disgusting situations in the country today and pray God to rescue the country from failed leadership.

This was the call by the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus in a Sallah message to mark the end of the 30-day Ramadan fasting period by the Muslim faithfuls.

According to the PDP National Chairman, the failure of leadership is the bane of the country.

He remarked that poor leadership has been our problem in the country but, President Muhammadu Buhari and his ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, elevated the failure to an unprecedented level that only a fervent  prayer to God can save the country.

In a statement from his media office, signed by Ike Abonyi, the PDP chairman disclosed that the five years of APC administration has set the country dangerously backwards and only deep supplications in solemn times like this can make us see the face of the creator.

Secondus said that he expects that the end of the Holy month of Ramadan should provide ample period for positive attitude from those in position of authority to underline the lessons of sacrifice and brotherly love warning that  our actions as leaders must not negate the fundamental prescriptions of our faith.

The PDP boss called on the APC led federal government to be sincere with Nigerians by agreeing to the known fact that they have failed woefully and have by their actions and inactions, put the entire country on reverse gear.

"The challenge of COVID-19 which brought our leadership  failure very copiously should be seen as an opportunity to deliver purposeful leadership to the people.

According to Secondus, "our refusal to allow the lessons of Ramadan influence our conducts, is the reason we continue to suffer despite the lavish blessing from God to us as a nation.

"The lessons of the last 30 days of  fasting and prayer will be meaningless in our lives if the solemnness of the period  does not influence our thoughts and actions in relating with one another".

Prince Secondus, while wishing all Nigerians a happy Sallah celebration, appealed to them not to allow the current poor governance in the country affect their harmonious inter-faith relations.
