Which is the way forward in this defective and irreparable Structure we call Nigeria?
With all the on goings by the Rulership, and all that are being dubiously legalized through the “Rubber-stamp Legislature” as well as the nepotistic and false sense of ownership injected into the DNA of their offsprings, I doubt if there is a way out of this quagmire.
For starters, I am shocked that most Nigerians (both “for and against”) who saw the shameful video that went viral a few weeks ago (during this lockdown), in which some young men and women displayed for all to see their opulent and wasteful lifestyles and yet, all that was done was just to share the video and all is already forgotten! Oh! My people, my people!!!
Nobody even asked the question about where they or their parents got such stupendous wealth from.
What Industries do they own and where, and since when!
How much Tax do they pay?
One can go on and on!
The problem is that, we do not ask questions and even when we do, we never demand for answers persistently.
Even most of those chasing the answers have long forgotten the real questions.
Do you now blame the unprecedented level of impunity in Governance?
“Only in Naija” do you have a non productive or non-contributing region reaping ALL the proceeds from where they did not sow and yet, that region is still the reason Nigeria is being rated the poorest in the whole World.
And, no questions are being asked!
Honestly, I do not see any way for this so-called “Unity” of Nigeria as it was built on a foundation of fraud and deception of the highest order.
So, whether we like it or not, it would break into pieces some day. There is no need over-patching the current structure because, for example, when you have a very defective tyre and you continue to patch-patch it, the vehicle on which the tyre is placed, will surely be wobbly and bumpy into destruction.
Moreover, if you go ahead with that situation, you would be courting a very bad or possibly fatal accident (God forbid).
So it is better to separate the bad tyre from the vehicle so as to save the whole vehicle and its other good tyres from collective doom.
Furthermore, a marriage that built on lies, cheating and disrespect, if not dissolved but managed for the reasons of “protecting” the children of that union, those children would not turn out well because of the traumas in such home.
Accordingly, most times, it would be better to be a single-parent than be in an unhappy, abused marriage without any self esteem.
My take! I do not know of yours!
If you have a better solution, please, do offer it before the Original becomes the Fake.

May we apply our God-given wisdom so the “first” would not continue to be “last”.
