FINALLY, BUHARI CAVES IN, SUSPENDS MAGU AS ACTING EFCC CHAIRMAN

Reports in the news domain reveals that Ibrahim Magu, embattled acting chairman of the Economic and Financial crimes commission (EFCC) has been suspended from office. 

Reports monitored on Tuesday from the BBC Hausa Service disclosed that, the Nigerian Presidency has suspended Magu as the head of the anti-corruption agency.

It is recalled that earlier on Monday, the anti-corruption had been reportedly arrested by operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS while on his way to an official engagement at the Police Force Headquarters and there after, taken to the Presidency where he was said to have been grilled on allegations of corruption by an inter-agency presidential panel.

The embattled acting chairman of the EFCC appeared before a presidential committee chaired by former Justice Ayo Salami on Monday.
