OBADIAH MAILAFIA'S ARREST: CMBV Slams Presidency, DSS and NBC

Chairperson of the Core Middle Belt Values, CMBV, Mrs Christie Oyine Omar has blasted the Federal Government and the Directorate of State Security Service, DSS for inviting Mr.Obadiah Mailafiya for questioning following his revelation that a Northern Governor is behind the Commander of Boko Haram sect.
In a release sent to journalist on Thursday evening, the Middle Belt leader said;
"It is rather disheartening that DSS deigned it fit to intimidate Obadiah rather than investigate his claims".
"It is on record that leaders of certain ethnic groups claimed responsible for killings happening in the Middle Belt and they were not arrested nor questioned".
"It is on record that certain persons have threatened fire and brimstone if they don't win elections yet, nothing happened to them".
"Why should they even contemplate inviting an honest and truthful man who dare to say the truth", she asked .
Mrs Oyine lambasted the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission,NBC for slamming Nigeria Info with a N5 million fine for broadcasting the interview with Mr Obadiah Mailafia.
She further accused the NBC of playing to the gallery in order to please the presidency, warning that her organization will not standby and watch citizens of the Middle Belt being intimidated by the Presidency or any government agency for speaking their minds .
