"HC Ukah Did It, Deserves Commendation For His Smart Response"..... Oghenesivbe Esq.

"HC Ukah got it right and this is what is expected of us; elected representatives and political appointees. We are the foot soldiers of government and we must do what we need to do to assist the governor and the government".

The Delta state Government has uplifted the outlook of a primary school with befiting classroom chairs and studying desks that will improve learning among the pupils.

Erhuwaren Primary School, located in Ughelli South Local Government area of the state, was founded in 1945 by the local authority to provide learning for the villagers.

The primary school attracted government attention 48 hours after images of the pupils sitting on bare floor, hit social media and the same caught the eyes of the Executive Assistant on Communications to the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa..

The EAC to the Governor, Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, a vibrant and effective personality was quick to draw the attention of the Honourable Commissioner for Basic Education, Mr. Charles Ukah.

This is the true reflection of the actions of the determination of the Okowa's adminstration for "A Stronger Delta".

According to the EAC, "On October 13, 2020, I came across a post wherein some primary school pupils sat on bare floor while taking lessons. The caption revealed that the pupils were that of Erhuwaren Primary School in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state. The school was founded in 1945".

"I immediately forwarded the images with a note to the private WhatsApp of the Honourable Commissioner for Basic And Senior Education, Chief Patrick Ukah. And within seconds, he responded and promised to take proactive steps to address the poor state of the school classrooms".

"And 48 hours later, HC Ukah forwarded images of trucks loaded with classroom chairs and tables heading to Erhuwaren Primary School, and some hours later, he sent images of the classrooms tastefully furnished".

"This is what I call "responsive government" and the good deeds of HC Ukah is highly commendable. There is no better way to describe the smart response by the Honourable Commissioner for Basic Education other than to say that he is a super technocrat and a visionary public servant. Thank you, Mr Commissioner, Sir. You are certainly one of the good ambassadors of this administration's Stronger Delta mandate".

"The state governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, can not be everywhere at the same time, hence he appointed capable men and women to take charge of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDA. It therefore behooves on these senior government officials to act swiftly and in good time to address complaints from the public so that governance is consistently brought closer to the people".

"HC Ukah got it right and this is what is expected of us; elected representatives and political appointees. We are the foot soldiers of government and we must do what we need to do to assist the governor and the government to achieve in good time, the Stronger Delta mantra, of this administration", Oghenesivbe stressed.

"Bravo to HC Ukah, you have always taken your assigned responsibilities very seriously and you are certainly in good standing based on your quality service to the state and good people of Delta State".

"HC Ukah, you are a true Deltan and a patriotic Nigerian with a heart of gold. Keep the flag flying, Sir".

Stronger Delta, Let's Build Together.
